Welcome to Smådalarö Gård

The scent of the sea, bare skerries and weather-beaten piers – at Smådalarö Gård your experience of the archipelago will be intense – regardless of season. The business meeting, the weekend relaxation or the recreational activities among others tennis, golf or sauna bathing will all be most satisfactory.

Smådalarö Gård is situated on the banks of the bay Hemviken, quite close to the opening of the  Stockholm south archipelago, only 45 minutes by car from central Stockholm. The mansion was built in 1810 and has through the years been completed with hotel side buildings, dining-rooms and orangery. Today also two minor houses for sauna bathing are located at the waterfront. A separate small hotel – Gits Hus - with nine beds is very close to the main building. This house was previously owned and served as a summer house for the show queen Git Gay. Perfect rooms for board meetings, family- and friend get-togethers in a separate nice milieu. If you prefer a chef of your own in the house, he or she will be at your service.

Smådalarö Gård always has the motto to let the customer enjoy delicious food, inspired mainly by the archipelago, further supplemented by excellent wines from our own wine cellar. Our beautiful salons can all offer this combination of dining and enjoying life in an environment close to the sea. This is a very attractive place in the Stockholm archipelago aimed for weddings, parties or other festivities.The dining-rooms and salons have a capacity of up to 140 persons and as much as 400 persons on the beautiful outdoor terraces.

Many people come here just to play golf, and our own 9-hole course is well adjusted to the area with forests, meadows and water. The hotel is proud to offer two tennis courts and several other outdoor activities, such as boat trips and teambuilding games. For those who put food in the first place, our chef gladly takes care of groups guiding them through thrilling cooking activities. Whatever you choose, you will enjoy this wonderful milieu, be inspired by all that is offered, and last but not least, experience the dazzling view over the sea in peace and quiet.

Smådalarö Gård has 62 rooms, all keeping the same high standard with cable TV, radio, telephone, mini bar, writing-desk and ironing-board. All bathrooms with shower, toilet and hair-drier. The Junior Suite also has a bath tub. In the two-floor suite “Gökboet” the bedroom is upstairs and in the bath room there is a jacuzzi. Wifi, speed wireless internet is available in all rooms. Being our guest you always have free access to our sauna at the water, tennis, billiards and boules.
